Chinese Checkers online game, in Germany known as 'Halma'. The original game was invented by Mr. Howard Monks in 1883 and further developed in Germany in 1892.

I'd like to submit a minor correction on your history of Chinese checkers, I'm a genealogist of the Monks family, Dr George Howard Monks invented Halma, based upon the game Hoppity, the Pressman company based Chinese Checkers on Halma.
